Good day fellow stovies

I am setting here this morning and shaking my head, after reading the daily morning mail. When i got into this business i never foresaw the impact it would have on the Ultralite backpacking community. I did not realize how big this whole minibulldesign thing has become until I started getting orders from Belgium, Russia, Brazil, and Israel, Iraqi, and many other places i can't remember. This month has, so far been yet another record breaker for sales. I know I keep saying this but the sales keep growing. The sales have over the years grown by 400% and I see no stop in that trend. As the economy sags people are flocking to MBDC more than ever. Why I do not know. I think that my policy of being complete open and showing all the daily details of what I do and what my life is like have in some way helped. I think by doing that i have made people realize that this is not a close and cold business with no human face attached to it but a small cottage industry with a friendly person you can go to when you have a question or a problem. This has been a double edged sword. Because i am open to the public i also get a lot of hate mail and bad publicity from people who are just frustrated with my success and their failure. For some reason people think they can come up with a stove that is not workable and sell it to the public by copying my style and linking their Youtube videos to mine with clever wording. I also see these same people doing demos with just their hand showing and never showing their face. I think that is because they know what a bad product they have and know that it will show on their face if they were ever to look at the camera. I have in the past been a real cruel and arrogant person and have treated some people very badly. At the time i truly felt they deserved it. Because of the size of MBDCult and the amount of press i now get it is no longer necessary or in my best interest to get upset or say anything cruel. I am the victim of my own stupidity and inexperience from my past antics and some of my bad behavior is coming home to roost in the form of harsh comments, bad attitudes and hate mail. But I have seen this and have turned away from the dark side to a new and much more productive and positive Tinny of MiniBullDesign Cult. There is no profit in hate, it only produces more hate and and that can only be a bad thing. No one wants to listen or read hateful comments so I think from now on if i get any I will try to delete them and block the sender, not because I can but because it is just the best thing to do for the public, kind of like scooping up the horse dung after a parade. This is a very interesting and educational place for any stovie to visit and talk to others of a like interest and I learn daily from it. The trick in life is to listen to others and think about what they have said. Being quick to judge without a long and hard look at the facts will almost always be regretted later. Don't let your judgment be clouded by anger and dogma and you will be a better person for it. ---Tinny---MBDCult

I have seen the Bios#2 video and have read all your positive support, thank you for that. Now--Sense the new site was installed I have sold just 70 BIOS#2. of the 70 I have had 5 people e-mail me about it having problems. All were the same, the stove was cured with a fresh bottle of fuel and all were happy with the stove once this was cleared up. I would like to point out several things that may have been overlooked. The BIOS#2 is a very tight one piece stove with a very small gap between the inner and outer walls. This space is just 1/8 inch. Like anything that is high performance, it requires a more sophisticated design and a higher degree of operating skill to work properly. Because of this it is more prone to operator error and problems. My dad had a Cadillac Sedan deville that he tried to run on regular gas. It would spark knock and run backwards when shut off. Wrong fuel for the job. The BIOS#2 requires that the fuel be fresh. By fresh I mean that the bottle has not been open to the air for a long time or has not been opened then recapped and set on a shelf for several months. If the BIOS#2 is used with fresh fuel it is a thing of beauty. Just a nice stove. I have had people write me and also call me about the White Box stove behaving badly and with a little work I have found the same problem --old fuel--. All of bills stove worked perfect once the bad fuel was replaced with fresh fuel. Now for a brief background on Zelph. Anyone can see that he is not being anything but negative and not saying what he really means to say, so I will say it for him----I WISH Tinny had a big problem on his hands---I wish I could invent a stove that was that good---I wish I had not treated him so badly--I wish he would say good stuff about my stoves so I could sell a lot of them and live off the profit and be well known in the stove business. I wish he would get a big law suit and go out of business---I wish I could be as successful as Tinny---I wish I had Tinnys creativity and talent. ---Sorry Zelph. We all have a gift, mine is creativity and yours is hate. Hate doesn't pay very well and can ruin your life and cause all kinds of health problem including depression and constipation.

Rhubarb, Horse hockey, dogma and flying pigs !!

Now I am not the type to take everything I hear as the truth ,without asking a few questions. When Y2K passed without any problems, I took off my crash helmet and came out of the cellar and back into the daylight feeling relieved that I had survived but still watching the sky for falling satellites and local airliners. I learned to ask questions before buying can goods and moving into a cave. This is not a lot different than the issue of flying pigs. I have never seen a flying pig but that doesn’t prove anything because I have never seen Big Foot either but everybody knows he exist. So my question would go like this. Do pigs fly anytime of day or is there a special moment when they feel compelled to take to the sky? Can a pig fly from birth or do they need to be a certain age. And also can all pigs fly, male and female or just a select few that have the correct genes? I have also heard that pigs can fly but only if no one is watching , so this begs the question, If I was to be near a flying pig and turned around and looked at him would he explode or just come crashing to the ground in a big pile of bacon ? Now Y2K was a bad time for planet earth with everyone thinking they would probably die from one of many dangers created by all the computers getting confused and crashing because they could not count to 2000. There was the aircraft falling out of the sky, the nuclear power plant that were all going to go into china syndrome and generally society would break down from lack of electricity food and water, causing mass riots. Now I have to admit I was more than a little skeptical about UFOs until the little fellers that fly them helped me change a flat on a back road in the middle of the night. These little guys are real nice folks and have really gotten a bad rap for abducting people and cows. Now I am getting a lot of flak from some folks that should know better, about BPA and beer cans, so I decided to ask some questions---First what is BPA and where does it come from and what does it do and why is it in beer cans ? Second how much is in a beer can and does it get washed or boiled away with time? And does it get less and less as time goes by. And how much does it take to harm you? Is it like the mercury in your fillings in your teeth or more like the chemicals in drinking water we have building up in our bodies? Also what are the symptoms of getting too much? I think it doesn’t do anything to you until it reaches a certain high level and when it reaches that magic number you turn blue and explode. I don’t think anyone has reached this level yet. Probably a few years from now you will see people exploding everywhere or nothing will happen at all and it will be discovered that it was all a false alarm, kind of like the oat bran thing that never realized it’s full potential to save the world. I eat a meal that has been boiled in a beer can most every day and have never had any ill effects from it, so here is my spin. If I can eat out of a beer can daily for 4 years without any noticeable effects then a person who goes backpacking a few days a year and eats a few meals from a beer can pot should be symptom free for a hundred years. I personally think this whole thing was started by some company to kill sales of their competition and make their product appear more earth friendly, but I am also sure that in a few years we will find that the product that replaced the polycarbonate bottles has its own chemical problems and causes baldness in laboratory rats.-----Tinny---Grand HOOHAA MBDCult---Have a great day !!

I have found a new type of high temp silicone tubing that has a thinner wall and is much softer so it doesn't overpower the tiny lite stove parts and I have cut the new tubing on a 45 deg angle so it inserts very easy. I am including two spare wicks and a spare tube with the stove and I apologize for the higher price but it was necessary to make it all worth while. This is a great little stove and the new tubing is so small and lite you can carry a spare inside the stove and have room left over, but I don't think you will need a spare any time soon. I was going to add a potstand but any of my potstand will work with this stove so I think it would be a waste--I am using a Gnome stand or the one that comes with a KKKK Tinny---MBDCult grand HOOHAA
